Baptism
Policy Purpose Our purpose for this policy is to provide the framework and supportive environment in which parents may reflect and carry out the awesome privilege and the responsibility of the reception of baptism. Program Our baptismal sessions will be presented by the Baptism Team. The program will consist of: A session at the Church held the last Tuesday of every month from 7:00PM to 8:15PM The session will provide the time for the following: Relection on personal faith and the Sacrament of Baptism Faith development of the child A look at the ceremony: • Preparation for the Baptismal Event • Prayer • Reflections Parents must attend a session before Baptism takes place. Please contact the Parish to schedule a session. Marriage Preparation All of us here at St. John Neumann Church are excited about being able to help you prepare for your marriage. Don't hesitate to contact us about any question or problem that may arise. At present we have a parish-based preparation program which means we can accomodate your schedule fairly well. Our program and our policy is intended to help you be as best prepared as you can for you life together. We hope that what we share with you will enhance your growing relationship and also provide a solid foundation for the new family you are about to begin. Please know you are in our prayers.
