The Knights of Columbus at Saint John Neumann
Saint John Neumann Church is blessed with a number
of organizations that provide for the sustenance and growth of your
Catholic Faith.
Among them is the Saint John Neumann Council 12532 of the Knights
of Columbus. The Council was chartered in august 1999. The Council
meets the second tuesday of each month in rooms 13 through 16 at
7:45 p.m. Each meeting begins with the recitation of the Rosary
- please note the Council meetings are only open to members who
have a current membership card in the first section. The Knights
of Columbus is open for membership to any male who is at least 18
years of age and is a practicing Catholic.
Since its inception in August 1999 with 35 members, our Council
has tripled in size to over 110 members. With this "small"
group of dedicated men, we have been able to conduct several fund
raising events that have allowed us to donate over $11,000 to various
youth, Pro-Life, vocation and community programs. In addition our
members have volunteered over 14,000 hours of service to both the
Parish and the community. We are always looking for more dedicated
Catholic men to join us in our efforts.
For more information and an application to join, or if a member
of your family is already a Knight and may wish to transfer to this
council, please call our membership chairman, Jim Graham at 717-664-1024.
