Under the Direction of Mrs. Hermina Boyle and Mr. Scott Root
What is the Diocesan Celebration of World Youth Day on Palm Sunday?
Youth and chaperones from every parish and Catholic high school in our diocese are invited to join Bishop McFadden at our annual World Youth Day Celebration on Palm Sunday. This exciting, high-energy, interactive experience of faith begins with the blessing of the palms and the first gospel reading at the Capital Steps in Harrisburg and continues in St. Patrick’s Cathedral and ends with a concert and dinner at Strawberry Square.
How can we help?
With this message, the Diocesan Office for Youth and Young Adults Ministry is seeking high school students to serve as instrumentalists and vocalists for the liturgical music. This will involve participating in prepared auditions to evaluate skill level at the Cardinal Keeler Center on either Monday, November 28, 2011 or Thursday, December 1, 2011. Appointments will be scheduled in 10 minute intervals between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Students should come prepared to play or sing a piece of music of their choosing (preferably liturgical music).

March 25, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral
